Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@constructingscience.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Science, especially R&D and Manufacturing are key components of the strategy for Life Sciences in the UK. The industry has seen exponential growth over the past few years with a number of new companies entering the market. We have individually been acting as consultants  and have seen the need to put together an outline guidance, nomenclature and methodology for this sector, to accelerate and enable the development process.

Nothing. As part of our By-laws, we agree not to seek direct compensation for our time and effort in Constructing Science. Our members are bound by our Bye-laws that this endeavour is for the further progress of the Construction of Science buildings.

Our time and commitment, although enthusiastically given, is rather limited by other factors. As such, we seek each year to prioritise what we think is the next most important element. If you, however, have an idea and are willing to lead its development, please do get in touch on info@constructingscience.com

Our approach is that if there is literature that has been sufficiently developed, we will make use of it and seek to reference it into our own reports. We are not eager to develop anew something that has already been done.

We have four tiers of involvement:

  1. Member
This tier is reserved for individuals who are engaged in the process and are providing their input in the publications and tend to be at Leadership positions within their respective organisations. Members are invited to join Constructing Science.
  2. Corporate Partners
Corporate Partners are typically the companies of our members. They provide Constructing Science with the funds and expertise to develop its publications.
  3. Supporters
These are organisations who support our endeavour. they range from Institutions to Local Government and provide the necessary gravitas for Constructing Science. We are always looking for more Supporters to our cause.
  4. Collaborators
Collaborators are companies who Constructing Science works closely with, typically for developing our publications. If you are interested in becoming a collaborator, please do get in touch.
